Exploring the emotional violence towards women perpetuated by the media. I wanted to present the woman as an object being both on a pedestal and in a prison.

Expectations of how a woman should/should not look turns in self-doubt and self- deprecation (violence towards self), which informs how we treat our children, what we say in passing about beauty and how we consciously or subconsciously judge other women according to their experience. We continue to perpetuate messages from the media (violence towards others). The circle represents this continuous cycle.
